Mainak Chakraborty

Executive Director & Co-CEO

Mainak is a Director and Co-CEO of GPS Renewables. Mainak has completed his MBA from IIM Bangalore and his engineering from NIT, Calicut. Recently, he has been named as one of the top Indian innovators under the age of 35 by the MIT Technology Review. Mainak focuses on the large projects division for GPS Renewables.

Sreekrishna Sankar

Executive Director & Co-CEO

Sreekrishna is a Director and Co-CEO at GPS Renewables. An MBA from IIM Bangalore, Sreekrishna comes with 4 years of strategic consulting experience with Oliver Wyman. A computer engineer by training, he has varied experience in technology and product development. Sreekrishna drives the product and technology development in GPS Renewables.

 


 

Praveen Sukumaran

Head of Engineering

Praveen is a Mechanical Engineer with over 15 years of experience in manufacturing, production and implementation. He has been an entrepreneur for the last 7 years, focusing on precision engineering and product development.

Madhurjya Das

Senior Vice President, Sales

Madhurjya oversees the services division for GPS Renewables. Madhurjya holds an MBA from IIM Bangalore and prior to joining GPS, was working with Yes Bank and EXL Financial Services.

Deepam Mishra

Chairman

Deepam has over 15 years of experience in technology innovation and commercialisation, as well entrepreneurship. He holds a B.Tech from IIT Kanpur, an MS from Texas A&M University and an MBA from Wharton.

V Subramanian

Independent Director

V Subramanian is presently the CEO and Secretary General of the India Wind Energy Association. An IAS officer of the 1971 batch, prior to this, he was the Principal Secretary of the MNRE (Ministry of New & Renewable Energy), Govt of India.

Pratima Ram

Independent Director

Pratima Ram advises GPS on its financial strategy. She was previously the CEO of India Infoline, one of India’s largest financial services firm with a market capitalization of USD 0.9 billion. Prior to that, she was Group President, Finance, at Punj Llyod, at a time when its topline had peaked to USD 2.4 billion. She was also the country head of SBI (State Bank of India), USA and South Africa. She also sits on the Board of Suzlon.
